ExpressionEngine 2 Coda Clips

About two years ago I started developing with ExpressionEngine, the elegant, flexible, and powerful Content Management System by Ellislab Inc. - for some time now Ellislab announced a new major update for their CMS. The release-date for a EE 2.0 Public Beta has been set to early december, but I’ve got the chance to join the Limited Private Beta a few weeks ago and test the new Plattform/CMS, report bugs and discuss this and that with the Development-Team and the other Private-Beta-Testers.
You can learn more infos about ExpressionEngine 2.0 and its new features on the official ExpressionEngine-Website - for short: the changes from EE 1.6.x to EE 2.x reminds me of the transition from Mac OS 9 to Mac OS X about a decade ago - EE 2.0 is really a new Plattform with fancy and powerfull new features, but in my eyes, EE 1.6.x to 2.0 is primary a plattform-transition. I love EE 1.6.x, but nothing is perfect … and EE 2.0 is EE 1.6, but even better.

Well, because I work almost every day with ExpressionEngine and my Production-Tool Nr.1: «Coda» - and, of course, do make heavy use of Codas «Clips»-Feature, I created some Coda-Clips with EE-Tags over the last two years. Now I updated my Clip-Collection for EE 2.0 (f.e. «weblogs» have been renamed to «channels») and thought: «Maybe there are some other EE- and Coda-Users who would love to have some of my Clips to» … so here there are! :-)

I’ve bundled a bunch of my personally most used EE-Tags - free of any markup-code - into one DMG for your Mac. Just download it and double-click the dmg (if not auto-mounted) and double-click the .clips-File to let Coda auto-import the new Clips.
The Bundle includes Tags for: channel-entries, categories, path, embed, stylesheet-path, comment-entries, search, SAEF, login, contact and the new ‘assign_variable’ named ‘preload_replace’. Feel free to post a comment with inputs on which tags are missing in the bundle for your workflow.
